Music from the Heart for TGIF 247

I was happy to join in with the Birthday theme challenge at TGIF this week because I needed to make my son a birthday card.

I was delighted with the Music from the Heart set in the January-June Mini Catalogue since my son is a musician. He's involved in many musical activities but his biggest love is playing classical piano so it's fabulous to have a set that's perfect for him. It arrived just in time to get something made and in the post for him.

I wanted to keep it is unfussy and masculine, so went for the grays and Cherry Cobbler.  The Stamparatus made repeat stamping the sentiment a breeze. The piano did have to be fussy cut after colouring it but it only took a moment or two, then I popped it up on dimensionals over a vellum circle.

If you have a musician in the family, then this set is a must have.

  2. I love this stamp set, and I want it, but I don't know if I can justify getting it! Sigh! I love your take on it, with your Stamparatus hinge technique and one of the sentiments in red!
