Welcome to a new year of challenges at As You See It. Our rotation of challenges continues with a recipe challenge: use the five ingredients and see what you can cook up!
Here's what I did.
For the snowflakes, I used the Christmas Layers dies. This set, which is carrying over, includes snowflakes, mistletoe and stars in group and single die cuts. I cut the snowflakes in white multiple times to create the background. Then I overlaid a set in silver foil, to fit in with the sentiment.
The rhinestones and silver metallic thread carry on the shining theme. The silver foil mat was dry embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.
So, what can you do with snowflakes, silver, rhinestones or sequins, dry embossing and an inspiring sentiment? We'd love to see what you do. You can see what the rest of the team have done, and link up your entry, at the As You See It Challenge site.

Love that intricate snowflake front Jan; it gives the illusion of dry embossing, so effective. The touches of silver really standout too and a rather appropriate sentiment for you at the moment too - just lovely.
