I'm really happy with how this turned out. The set is a DistINKtive one, and the beauty of that style of stamp really shows up on the honey bees. There's a lick of Wink of Stella on the wings but otherwise, they're straight out of the box.
The star of the coordinating die set is the glorious honeycomb die. I've put some of the cells back in to simulate honey. The tiny heart dies are a nice surprise in the die set too and will be useful in many card and scrapbooking projects.
The DSP is the Golden Honey Specialty DSP. It is a Sale-abration item. You can earn it free with any purchase of $110 or more (excluding postage). The Honey Bee Bundle ($87.25), a pack of Whisper White cardstock ($20.50) and some Dimensionals ($7.25) would earn it for you.
The Subtle embossing folder has worked its magic in the background of the card too. I love this folder - it doesn't shout or scream but you miss it when it's not there.
Now that I've just gone to post this card to the GDP site, it seems a good moment to think about how it is that people can think alike. Each morning, I have a cup of coffee and look at my feeds to see what new challenges are up. I do a quick note of the challenge or draw a rough sketch into a notebook I keep on my desk. I browse it, if I'm looking for something to do. So apologies to design team member, Janneke because it turns out, we had the same idea, right down to using the same DSP. Really, we've turned out to be variations on the same theme.
Update: Delighted to be chosen as a winner at Global Design Project.
