Gorgeous Leaves for Paper Players 229

One of the first sets I got from the July-December Mini Catalogue was the Gorgeous Leaves bundle.  The Clean and Simple Challenge this week at The Paper Players was the perfect excuse to get it out again.

I like a good CAS challenge too, so it was a great combination. Thanks team!

I used one of the pair of Greenery Embossing folders to give a strip of pattern down one side. I ink-smooshed together Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie on Shimmery White cardstock and die cut the large, lacy leaf.

I added in a couple of small gold foil leaves and a Gilded Gem as embellishment. The sentiment, stamped in Mossy Meadow, is from Peaceful Moments.

I liked the layout so much that I made a second card in simple Basic White and Gold Foil. The sentiment is Gold embossed in this one.

  1. Both are gorgeous and go to prove that simple can be just as amazing as multi-layered! I love that you showed both the fall colors as well as the metallics! So happy you shared these with us at the Players!

  2. Absolutely love your card. Perfect for so many occasions, but really works well for a sympathy card.
