Colour INKspiration 65 Crew Card

Welcome to a new challenge at Colour INKspiration!

If you haven't played with us before, we're a group of Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up Demonstrators. You can play with us by joining in our Facebook group here which will let you play along, comment and vote for your favourite from the top 5 selected by the crew.

In addition to the challenge colours, you can freely use Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, metallics and skin-tone blends. If you don't have the exact challenge colours, you can substitute with your nearest-to colours.

Isn't this an intriguing colour palette to work with?

I've been away on holiday for the last month with my husband - so no crafting has been happening. As it got closer to home time, I began thinking about what I'd do with these colours. Once the suitcases were empty and the washing line full, I got to work to see whether the ideas I'd had would work out in practice. A few tweaks to the idea were necessary but otherwise, it's as I imagined it.

I really wanted the card to be WITH sympathy but as wonderful as the Well Said bundle is, it didn't have a 'WITH'. Seaside Notions came to the rescue as it includes a 'With gratitude' stamp, in just the right font.

The sponged broken frame is done with Merry Merlot and Blackberry Bliss, fading out to nothing in opposite corners.

We'd love to see what you do with these gorgeous colours. You have a fortnight to play along with us.

For more inspiration, keep hopping along. Next up is the fabulous Nikki Spencer.
