Sip, Sip Hooray for JAI478

This week's challenge at Just Add Ink is to 'just add H'. This corresponded with an experimental period with my new set from the Holiday Catalogue, Sip, Sip Hooray. You can buy the stamp set alone or as a bundle with the matching dies. I love that one of the dies lets you cut out a bubble effect.

So I'm adding some HOORAYS! in this birthday card.

I wanted to create a sense of fun and celebration for this card so as well as having the glasses and 'hoorays' askew, I worked up a bright, bubbly background for them.

The background involved some sponging, some spritzing, some stamping, some die-cutting and some embossing and I like how it turned out: like a good dose of summery fun.

If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. You can leave a message in the comments or contact me using any of the methods listed in the Contact Me tab at the top of the page. You can shop with me from anywhere in New Zealand by clicking on the SHOP NOW button in the sidebar or clicking on any of products below.

  1. Love that background Jan - it is just fizzing with bubbles and colour and is so perfect with your glasses and hoorays! I just got this set too, but not yet inked up - so I will be watching your experimental period with interest!

  2. I kicked myself when I saw this set in the seasonal catty as I had just bought a 'drinks' stamp set which was quite small. This one is just the right size and I love all the fun elements. Your background is gorgeous Jan - the touches of gold add a real celebratory feel. I don't know what's in those glasses but it looks delicious and inviting! Vicky x

  3. You definitely captured and summer and bubbles with this Jan, it's so bright and happy! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. Kim

  4. What a fabulous background, Jan. Lots of lovely colour & texture. Glad you could play along with our Just Add H challenge.
