As You See It 207 - Design Team Card

At As You See It, we're back to the beginning of our new rotation of challenges so it's sketch week. This is my kind of sketch - and so it would be since I've had the privilege of creating it. 😀

Since my pre-order of Christmas Catalogue items arrived this week, I've used this challenge as a chance to have a first play with some things.

Feels Like Frost is a DSP stack with the most marvellous photographic images on one side and pretty white and silver designs on the other. The horizontal strip in this card is the reverse of this blue snow pine photographic image. The reverse will lend itself to sponging too, I'm sure. It was hard to choose which of the designs to use for the first try out, they were all so pretty!

The co-ordinating Frosted Frames dies are perfect for die-cut accents that match the images in the photographs, and for frames for sentiments. I've cut the stitched-edge sentiment piece and used it as a backing for a cluster of foliage instead.

The sentiment is from another Christmas Catalogue set, Itty Bitty Christmas. This set is an absolute must-have in your Christmas collection - it's full of perfect little Christmas messages.

All of these new Christmas items will be available on 4 September. Start your wish list now!

We'd love to see what you do with this challenge. Visit the As You See It Challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have done and to link up your entry.

If you live in New Zealand and don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours and help you with ideas and to supply you with Stampin' Up! products. You can message me by leaving a comment or going to my Facebook page, linked in the side bar of this blog. Or you can click on the SHOP NOW icon in the sidebar, or any of the pictures below, if you'd like to purchase any Stampin' Up! products.

  1. Jan this is gorgeous! These papers are beautiful and I love the vellum overlay and touches of silver sparkle. These are definitely on my list - such a beautiful Christmas card.

  2. What a delightfully shivery Christmas card Jan (although as I'm in the UK I'm quite happy to wait for my frost!)
