Colour INKspiration 61 Crew Card

Welcome to the new challenge at Colour INKspiration. If you haven't played with us before, we're a group of Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up demonstrators. You can play with us by joining in our Facebook group here which will let you play along, comment and vote for your favourite from the top 5 selected by the crew.

This new colour palette is soft, natural and inviting. I'd love to see what you do with it!

As well as the chosen colour combination you may add Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest substitute.

For me, these colours spoke of nature and textures, so I headed to Rooted in Nature which has long been a favourite of mine.

That lovely skeleton leaf is just a perfect image. I've masked it off to add some more foliage, using my second favourite image from this set, and added a popped up smaller skeleton leaf to complete the focal cluster.

I've kept things simple. The Stitched Rectangle dies add interest without fuss in the frame. The Pinewood Plank embossing folder adds texture to the background. I've wiped the ink pad lightly over the top of the texture to ink the pattern.

I think this card would be great to give to a male who needed some thanks but could equally well go to a woman.

Next up on the hop is Cathy Pinchbeck with a distressed style birthday card.
