Colour Inkspiration 53 - Crew Card

Welcome to a new challenge at Colour InkspirationIf you haven't played with us before, we're a group of Australian and New Zealand Stampin' Up demonstrators. You can play with us by joining in our Facebook group here which will let you play along, comment and vote for your favourite from the top 5 selected by the crew.

This time it's another pretty combination: Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, Whisper White and a touch of metallics.

I've created a concoction of bubbles using Playful Backgrounds, repeat stamped and embossed in gold. Then I've used Stampin' Blends in Petal Pink, Bermuda Bay and Mint Macaron - both light and darks - to colour the bubbles.

The 'celebrate' is stacked three deep. I used some gold shimmer paint mixed into a spray to give a touch of bling to it. The 'lets' and 'you' are masked out of one of the stamps in Itty Bitty Birthdays and the 'Happy Birthday' is from the same set.

I stepped things up a bit by creating an easel card. Here it is closed up for the envelope.

Next on our inspiration blog hop is the lovely Julia Quinn, who also has a fancy fold to show you.

If you live anywhere in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up demonstrator, I'd love to help you with ideas and Stampin' Up products. Please message me through my Facebook page, linked in the sidebar of this blog or leave a comment below.

And, of course, you can shop with me from anywhere in New Zealand by clicking any of the products pictured below or the SHOP NOW button in the sidebar of this blog or you can message me.

  1. This is great Jan - a really modern take on the fancy fold. I love the colour combo and the use of that stamp with the stacked diecut too - I have Playful Backgrounds from a past Onstage event but have only used it once as I never know what to do with it!! Your card today has given me a great starting point. This is really versatile too as it would work in lots of different colou combos.

  2. All those bubbles are fabulous. And lots of colouring. Awesome card. Love the easel This is such a clever way to use these colours.
