Freshly Made Sketches 384

I was very lucky in that my box of PPP from OnStage Auckland arrived just before Easter. I carved out a bit of time this morning to play with the new Free As A Bird bundle. For inspiration, I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

The bundle consists of the Free as A Bird stamp set and a set of Stitched Nested Labels dies.
These dies are a kind of long hexagon and have stitching on both sides of the cut edge, allowing you to not only have lovely labels but also lovely frames. Anyway, I thought that I could use one of these, truncated, for the rectangular element of the sketch.

I'm not usually one for using a lot of DSP in a card. In fact, I went to OnStage telling myself that I would not be buying any DSP. So after getting one set as a gift to all those present and being unable to resist two gorgeous offerings in PPP, here I am - using some of the very pretty DSP from Bird Ballad!

If you live anywhere in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up demonstrator, I'd love to help you with ideas and Stampin' Up products. Please message me through my Facebook page, linked in the sidebar of this blog or leave a comment below.

And, of course, you can shop with me from anywhere in New Zealand by clicking any of the products pictured below or the SHOP NOW button in the sidebar of this blog or you can message me.

The Free As A Bird bundle and the Bird Ballad DSP will be available in the new Annual Catalogue out at the start of June. Here's a list of the other items I used.
