Retro Rubber 106 - Design Team Card

Welcome to the new challenge at Retro Rubber, the challenge that lets you bring some love to your older stamps. Our rules are few: use at least one stamp that's older than a year, give us an approximate age for it, and please don't link up to more than ten challenges in total.

This week, in addition to using your older stamps, we want you to include stripes on your card.

Beautiful Bouquet is a lovely set, full of leaves and blooms of various sorts that you can stamp and die cut into a myriad of combinations. To make it completely fabulous, it's got a whole range of sentiments for all sorts of occasions.

This set first appeared in the 2017-18 Annual Catalogue and it still current, so you can still get your hands on it if you like.

My stripes are in two places. I've used the Stripes embossing folder in the background and I chose the striped wrapper option for my bouquet.

My colour inspiration came from the very pretty combination at Fab Friday.

You can still link up with their challenge until 8am on 14 March CST.

Update: Very happy to be in the Fab Four at Fab Friday!

We'd love to have you join us at Retro Rubber. You can play along with us until March 22.

  4. What's better than a floral bouquet but one that will last forever like this one? Love the striped embossing on the background panel too.
