The new challenge at Colour Inkspiration is glorious and I'm sure it will get your creative juices flowing! We're all Stampin' Up demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand. If you aren't already part of the Facebook group so you can participate in challenges, leave comments on other people's creations or vote for a winner from the Top 5, then pop over now and ask to join.
Beautiful colours, right? I was inspired not only by the colours but the pretty lacy texture on the woman's dress. It got me thinking about the Delightfully Detailed laser cut paper. This gorgeous paper is one of the catalogue items now available as a Sale-a-bration reward, so a qualifying order of $110 would get you some for free!
I cut a piece from the larger 12x12" sheet and layered it between a piece of Whisper White and the card front. I'd cut a circle from the card front and run it through the Big Shot using the Subtle embossing folder.
The fun part was playing with Beautiful Bouquet and the coordinating Beautiful Bunches framelits. This set offers so many variations of flower and foliage that you could make a million different combinations for any occasion. Best of all, it comes with a range of sentiments that are perfect for almost any occasion. Versatile with a capital 'V'! 😀
I hope this card gives you a few ideas of your own to try. For even more inspiration, you can see what the very clever Leonie Stuart has made to get your creative juices flowing. Don't forget - we love to see what you do with the challenge colours!

So pretty Jan, I like the way you have used the laser cut paper in the centre. Same stamp set as me, same colours even.Oh how I wish I hadn't lost the die to cut the yellow flower!
ReplyDeleteLove your case! We were on the same wavelength but your take is glorious! I totally love the circle window and subtle texture. Your flowers are divine too. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and I love the Subtle embossing folder. I must use the Laser cut specialty paper sometime soon.
