CAS Colours and Sketches 310 and Inspire.Create.37

Since my husband went off to golf this afternoon, I felt no guilt at heading for the craft room. I've used two challenges as my inspiration.
The first was the sketch at
CAS Colours and Sketches and the second was the colours at Inspire Create Challenge.

The final result was perhaps a little less CAS than originally intended but I think I got a nice card out of it. 😀

There was a bit of technique involved in this card. First I hand-cut a mask that replicated the curve of one of the masks from the Pattern Party decorative mask set. I stamped over it using the Sheet Music background stamp then sponged it in Mint Macaron. Then I used the decorative pattern mask with embossing paste mixed with Stampin' Glitter.

The butterflies are coloured with Stampin' Blends in Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight.
