This week at Retro Rubber Challenge, we're very excited to be partnering with Try Stamping on Tuesday. We are using their sketch for our current challenge. As always, you must use at least one stamp that's older than a year and give us an approximate age for it. It's double the fun for you as you can link your entry to both challenges if you want to. You can check them out here.
As I was perusing my shelves, looking for some inspiration, I saw Perennial Birthday and realised that it hadn't come out to play for a while. It just squeaks into the 'older than a year' category, having first appeared in the 2018 Occasions Catalogue in January last year.
I've picked a bold colour combination: Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Black and a tiny touch of the retired Pink Pirouette.
In place of the three banners, I've used some of the small floral stamps that are part of the set.
I've used Stampin' Blends to colour in the outline stamps and after masking them, added in some of the Granny Apple Green dots. The smaller flowers, some of which are in Pink Pirouette (retired), are popped up on mini-dimensionals.
You can see what the rest of the team did by clicking here. Then why not get out some of your older stamps and join both Retro Rubber and Try Stampin' on Tuesday?
Update: Delighted to be a Top 3 Pick at Try Stampin' on Tuesday.
