As You See It 193 - Design Team Card

This week, it's recipe week at As You See It Challenge.  Amanda's given us the ingredients and it's up to us to see what we can make out of them. Kind of like the old cooking show, Chopped. ðŸ˜€

So, what to make using a bow, stripes, patterned paper, Poppy Parade and something cut out?

Poppy Parade is the base colour and the accent colour of the design. The stripes are in one of the DSPs - the others being checks and polka dots. All these papers are the reverse side of the beautiful free Saleabration paper, Botanical Butterflies.

For the cut out element, I punched out one of the butterflies from the black and white butterfly design from Botanical Butterflies DSP and coloured it with Stampin' Blends in Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight. Although I punched it, which is technically not cutting out, I COULD have fussy cut it if I hadn't had the punch so I think it still counts.

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Birthdays, another new set from the Occasions catalogue. I coloured the pearls using the Poppy Parade Stampin' Blend. The white card front was run through the Big Shot using the Subtle embossing folder to add a touch of texture.

You can join in with us at As You See It Challenge until Wednesday 13 February and we'd love to see how YOU see this recipe! You can see what the rest of the team have done with it here.
