Welcome to this week's challenge at The Paper Players. Claire has a sports theme for us to play with. Of course, this is also Clean and Simple week so we have to keep the style in mind too: lots of white space, minimal layers, minimal embellishments and an uncluttered design.
I really like the Enjoy Life set which includes this great image of a cyclist. Here he is, cycling his way into a new day full of new adventures and new ideas.
I sponged the lower part of the panel with Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch before stamping in the grass and the cyclist. I added a little strip of Grapefruit Grove DSP to one side and stamped the sentiment in sections and punched them out like little sign posts.

ReplyDeleteThis was the only current sport stamp I could find in my stash Jan - we were almost twin again this week! I just love this card - the warm orange, sponged base and the tabbed sentiment - such a great CAS card and I'm pinning it to recreate for sure!
