Lights Aglow for AYSI 284

If you play regularly at As You See It, you'll have noticed that our challenges rotate on a regular cycle. So a Speed Challenge is always followed by a Sketch and it's a lovely one this week

December seems a long way away but I've been planning some Christmas classes so had the Lights Aglow suite out on my desk - so a Christmas card it is!

It's a nice simple one that you could easily make multiples of. The Lights Aglow DSP makes a great background for the simple Christmas tree, which is also cut from DSP.

The sentiment and labels are from the Brightest Glow bundle, one of two bundles that coordinate with the DSP - and each other.

I used the Basic Border dies to add some interest to the Very Vanilla banner. I added a few of the Festive Pearls to decorate the tree.

Don't forget to visit the As You See It Challenge page to see what the rest of the design team have done and to link up your entry. You can join in with us until Wednesday 5 October, 11.59pm PST.

  2. Just beautiful Jan! I haven't been too big of a fan of the SU! Christmas selections this year but between you and Heather I am changing my mind! I do know I need that dsp!

  3. With that die and the DSP, you have a ready made decorated Christmas Tree! How effective and efficient is that? I love the vanilla with those colours, Jan! This is beautiful, and it does seem like we were thinking along the same lines!

  4. This was the card I wished I'd made this week Jan - so instead I'm going to have to CASE it! The panel is perfect to showcase your pretty tree and I'm definitely inspired to start cutting into those papers now!
