Welcome to a new challenge at Colour INKspiration! This striking colour palette was chosen for us by Crew Member Lou Kitzelman.
If you haven't played with us before, we are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from the South Pacific. Challenges are shown and entered via our Facebook Group page. If you don't have an exact challenge colour, feel free to replace it with whatever you have that's closest. - for example Crushed Curry for Daffodil Delight. Black, White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and metallics are free colours, as are flesh toned Stampin' Blends.
I thought these colours were such summer colours that I went to Waves of Inspiration for a beach themed card. Using the Stamparatus made creating a multi-hued ocean a breeze. 😂
When I stamped Tahitian Tide over parts of the Parakeet Party, it created an interesting, deep green.
After stamping and then sponging the scene, I trimmed it into strips and mounted them onto a piece of Basic White.
I used some of the new Tahitian Tide Metallic Woven Ribbon to ground the sentiment. Isn't that die cut label just perfect for that sentiment? The ease with which this ribbon frays made it easy to add a lovely tassel to the mix.
I'm keen to see what everyone does with these bright colours.
