On the second Wednesday of each month, the team hops on a theme. This month's theme is to 'Step it Up.'
Here's an overview of my beginner, casual and avid crafter projects.
I was excited by this challenge as I've always meant to plan a project for a Beginner, Casual and Avid crafter - but somehow, I just never have! It was harder than I thought because I kept wanting to add just a little more to the beginner and casual projects until they were ... well, avid projects.
So what I did was to start roleplaying. I started by imagining that I was new to stamping and had a few basics such as a cutting board, adhesives, Basic White card and rhinestones. In my imaginary world, I've treated myself to a mixed pack of 2021-23 In Color A4 card and a set of the matching inks plus the stamp set Quiet Meadow. This limits me to pretty much stamps, inks and paper which is true of most stampers in the beginning. Here's a close up of the beginner's project.
For the Casual Crafter's project, my imaginary stamper has added in a 2021-2023 In Color DSP stack and a set of Stampin' Write markers. They've used the markers to directly colour the stamp, so there's a bit more technique involved too. Here's a close-up of the Casual Stamper's project.
For the Avid Crafter's project, my imaginary stamper has gone for gold. Now they've got themselves a Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine so they've added in the Meadow dies. They've got some blending brushes and subtly coloured some white die cuts to layer on. They've replaced the basic rhinestones with the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels. The Meadow dies also include a lovely label for the larger sentiments.
Like most of us, my imaginary stamper has learned the joys of 'having it all!'

Very nice evolution of your projects Jan. The touch of technique brought between the first and the second, then the touch of finger-sponges then. It is very simple and easy to do at home. Well done !
