The sketch at CAS Colours and Sketches this week gave me an idea for a very quick and simple card that still has impact.
The bow ties are stamped, fussy cut and coloured with Stampin' Blends.
Such a quick and easy card and you could make it even easier if you didn't emboss the background - although I prefer the look.
Update: Delighted to be picked a Weekly Winner at CAS Colours and Sketches.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful CAS card! I agree with you Jan. I'm not a big fan of pattern paper either, but your bow ties looks great.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches! Hugs
This is just perfect Jan! The DSP was perfect for the stripes and a great example of how less DSP really can be more. Love the addition of the bow ties too! Thanks for sharing your creation with us over at CAS Colours and Sketches this week!
ReplyDeleteA masterclass in how to use DSP in a CAS way Jan! I love your vertical stripes with their nod to the tie, and I love the group of three bow ties highlighting the sentiment. Thank you for playing with us at CAS Colours and Sketches this week! Vicky x
