Handsomely Suited for CAS Colours and Sketches 412

 The sketch at CAS Colours and Sketches this week gave me an idea for a very quick and simple card that still has impact. 


I'm not generally a big user of patterned paper but sometimes, it's just the thing. This paper from the Well Suited DSP just screams 'TIE!' - so much so that I resisted the urge to cut the strips into tie shapes top and bottom. That's also because I didn't want to distract the eyes from the sentiment.


I embossed the card front with the Subtle embossing folder. If you've had your eye on this folder, make sure you get it soon as it will retire at the end of April and is now only available while stocks last.

The sentiment is die cut with one of the stitched ovals from Stitched Shapes - another retiring item, so make sure you order them now if you want them. 


The bow ties are stamped, fussy cut and coloured with Stampin' Blends. 

Such a quick and easy card and you could make it even easier if you didn't emboss the background - although I prefer the look.
