With Christmas now fading into memory and with some long, lazy summer days ahead, it's been great to finally get back into the craft room. Sadly, my mojo seems to still be on leave so I was pleased to see the latest sketch at CAS Colours and Sketches.
It was excellent inspiration! I got out my new Art Gallery bundle and braved working out how to use the new Gilded Leafing embellishment to create a golden centre for the flowers. It turned out not to be as scary as anticipated!
As lovely as the floral images in this set are, and as opulent as the gilding is, I think that the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder is my favourite part of the whole gorgeous suite.
