Wrapped Bouquet for Colour Inkspiration 92

Happy New Year and welcome to the first challenge of the year at Colour Inkspiration. Our challenge this time around comes from a photo taken by our wonderful team member, Cheryll Miller. Isn't it inspiring?
And as a special bonus, this challenge will run for FOUR weeks, giving you a ton of time to play along.

If you haven't played with us before, we are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from the South Pacific. Challenges are shown and entered via our Facebook Group page. If you don't belong, and would like to, click here. Don't forget to answer the two easy questions you'll be asked when you ask to join the group.

Each challenge, Top Picks and a winner are chosen by the crew and the winner offered a chance to Guest Design with us for a future challenge.

If you don't have an exact challenge colour, feel free to replace it with whatever you have that's closest. Black, White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and metallics are free colours, as are flesh toned Stampin' Blends.

I took this challenge as on opportunity to give a new bundle a try out. I just received the Wrapped Bouquet bundle, fresh out of the January-June Mini-Catalogue.

I stamped the smaller bouquet in Garden Green twice (so I could fussy cut out some flowers from the second one to add depth) and coloured them with Stampin' Blends.

I love it when a die set gives me extra doodads, so I cut some foliage and some tiny flowers to add into the final arrangement. I finished off the some of the flower centres with 2020-22 In-Colour enamel dots in Magenta Madness.

One of the surprises of the set is that you can cut your own paper to wrap the bouquet. I stamped Whisper White with the newsprint stamp in Merry Merlot and created the wrap - which was very satisfying to make.

To ground the arrangement on the base, which I embossed with the Tasteful Textile folder, I added in a strip of Whisper White that had been die cut with the Stitched Lace die. This was cut down from a scrap box find, which is always a nice feeling.

We'd love to see what you make of these colours. You can add your project, see the other entries and look at the Design Team inspiration by clicking here.
