I was happy to see the sketch that's the new challenge at The Paper Players.
It's my kind of sketch and it gave me just the excuse I needed to play with my favourite set from the new 2019-20 Annual Catalogue: Very Versailles. I wanted it from the moment I saw it but it wasn't until a couple of days ago that I received it, after some delivery delays.
I enjoyed using the various stamps to create the collage style panel. The leaves have the most glorious distINKtive style, the script stamp is beautiful to use and the mirror frame screams out for some gold embossing.
It wouldn't be Versailles without some touches of gold, so the mirror frame is embossed, there's a hint of gold at the edges of the panel and some embossed gold foil backing the sentiment.
I used the Subtle embossing folder for the front because the texture put me in mind of the silk wallpaper.

These kinds of sets scare me Jan (I struggle with vintage so much!) but you really have done an awesome job! Your collage panel is beautiful and looks just as if it was meant to be. The touches of gold really lift this card but the real standout for me is that subtles embossed foil behind the sentiment banner - I love the texture on the foil, must try it!
