Calming Camellia for Sunday Stamps 276

I was delighted to finally get Calming Camellia, the hostess set you can earn for free with an order of $575. What an absolute beauty it is! It's got all the fine detailing we expect from a DistINKtive stamp and a wonderful vintage vibe.

I used the sketch at Sunday Stamps as inspiration to show it off.

For the background, I repeat stamped the large camellia image in Mossy Meadow on Very Vanilla, then toned it down with a layer of vellum.

For the central panel, I started with a small piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the large camellia stamp in the top left and bottom right with Mossy Meadow. After colouring them with Stampin' Blends, I added in some of the scroll stamps, again in Mossy Meadow.

The sentiment was cut using the label die from All Dressed Up dies. A few Basic Rhinestone Jewels finished it all off.

  1. I have yet to break the seal on this stamp set (it scares me lol!) but I think I might start with a case of your card - it's so pretty! I love the colours and softness with the addition of the vellum and the vanilla base adds a lovely warm tone to the whole card. Gorgeous Jan!
