Butterflies and Flowers Layering Masks for PP576

The latest challenge at The Paper Players gave me the excuse to play around with the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks. These unassuming items were part of my December order but I've not played around with them until now. And how I regret the lost time with them! They are an amazing set with endless possibilities!

Anyway, I've used the bottom line: birthday, butterfly and stencil although I think I've accidentally played the centre column: sparkle, flower, butterfly as well!

The masks are easy to use. I started with the butterfly outline, which I sponged in Flirty Flamingo. Then I layed over the butterfly details and sponged in Melon Mambo then Poppy Parade in the centre.

Once that was done - and it was a quick process - she looked a bit lonely. So I made a mask from post-it notes for the butterfly then stencilled some flowers around her. Again, these were done in two parts: the base in Daffodil Delight and the overlay in Mango Melody. Then I added in some stencilled leaves in Granny Apple Green.

The sentiment is from Artfully Layered and a trio of Basic Rhinestone Jewels finished it off.
I can see that these Decorative Masks, now unpackaged, will see a lot of use!
