Gorgeous Leaves and Stitched Triangles for CI106

Welcome to a new challenge at Colour INKspiration! Once again, we had a huge number of fabulous entries. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone does with this inspiration, chosen by Crew Member Lou Kitzelman.

If you haven't played with us before, we are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from the South Pacific. Challenges are shown and entered via our Facebook Group page. If you don't belong, and would like to, click here. Don't forget to answer the three easy questions you'll be asked when you ask to join the group.

Each challenge, Top Picks and a winner are chosen by the crew and the winner offered a chance to Guest Design with us for a future challenge. This time, we have Berdien Weideveld joining us as Guest Designer.

If you don't have an exact challenge colour, feel free to replace it with whatever you have that's closest. Black, White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and metallics are free colours, as are flesh toned Stampin' Blends.

One of my favourite bundles from the July-December Mini Catalogue is the Gorgeous Leaves bundle and, as many regular followers will know, I have an ongoing fascination with the Stitched Triangle Dies. Which brought me to this....

In the close-up photo, you can more clearly see that the triangles have all be stamped with images from Gorgeous Leaves, in matching ink. The card front was embossed using the Timber 3D Folder from the July-December Mini Catalogue.

When you visit the Colour INKspiration site to enter, don't forget to check out the album of Crew Cards for further inspiration.

  2. You never cease to amaze me how creative you are with these triangles! I love the subtle stamped detail and whilst I would never have associated this colour palette with leaves, it totally works!
