Butterfly Gala for AYSI 234 Design Team Card

It's recipe week at As You See It Challenge this week. You get five ingredients to create with, then show us how you saw them.

You must use all five ingredients somewhere in your creation but otherwise, it's up to you.

I ended up making a pair of cards because I couldn't decide which colour to use. I made them and still couldn't decide which was my favourite, so here they both are! One in Rococo Rose and one in Seaside Spray.

The butterflies, from Butterfly Gala,  are gold embossed on vellum and then coloured with Stampin' Blends. I like the translucent effect this creates. The foliage, from Very Versailles, is stamped in Mint Macaron. The sentiment is from Here's a Card.

You can visit the As You See It Challenge site to see what the rest of the team have done and to link up your entry.

If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. 1. Gorgeous! You can never go wrong with these beautiful butterflies, especially embossed in gold on vellum! So pretty! I haven't seen many butterflies this summer, so it's extra-special to see these!

  3. Both cards are beautiful, Jan, but I especially like the Rococo Rose. I might have to try embossing on vellum again. Last time it curled beyond belief!
