Colour Inkspiration 43 - Guest Designer

Recently, I had a win at Colour Inkspiration and, as a result, was lucky enough to not only receive a spot in Bronwyn Eastley's online Christmas Extravaganza class but a chance to guest design at this challenge. I feel very privileged to have taken a win here as there are always amazing creations from crafters all around the world. If you haven't played here before visit here and ask to join.

This week's challenge will appeal to lots of people, I think, given that this year's In Colours are so bright, beautiful and bodacious!

In addition to using any or all of this year's In Colours, you can also use the Basics (white, black, vanilla) and metallics in your creation.

Lovely Lipstick is my favourite In Colour but Call Me Clover and Pineapple Punch have also made guest appearances in my project, which is a screen card with a customised envelope/wallet.

I am having a bit of a love affair at the moment with Very Vintage, one of the Hostess Sets from the annual catalogue. I think it looks great done in non-vintage colours to make a very special birthday card.

Here's a close up of the envelope and what the card looks like unfolded, as it emerges from the envelope. Although the envelope has a flap that will stick down, I added a ribbon and tag to tie around it, just to make it seem extra special to the recipient.

Isn't that bouquet just glorious, stamped in a single colour? It's fabulous coloured in as well.
If you squint just right, you might see the shimmery Wink of Stella wings on the bee. You don't have to squint in real life. :-)

And here is just the card. The 'feet' are made with the Classic Label punch.

Next up on the hop is the delightful Denita Wright-Smee.

    1. So pleased you like it, Gloria. The base is made from a sheet of A4 cut the full length by 15 cm. Then it's scored into 4 even sections, You end up with each one about 7.4cm wide. Once you've measured, then cut the mat and the decorative panels to suit the size you have. My Lovely Lipstick mats are 7x13.5cm and the decorative panel 6.5x13cm. It will depend what punch you use to cut the feet how much room you have for the panels and you can adjust the length of decorative panels accordingly. I hope that helps. :-)
