As You See It 187 - Design Team Card

Amanda has given us an interesting challenge this week at As You See It. It's fill in the blank: I need to say..... to my.....

I needed to say, "Get Well," to my brother so this challenge came along at the right time! 

My latest stamp set acquisition is Dandelion Wishes and this is its first outing. I'd had my Brusho out earlier today and it had been a while since I'd played with those, so I used them to create this background.

I put vertical lines of Brilliant Red, then Gamboge, then Yellow Brusho onto wet watercolour paper. Then I used a spritzer to wet it again but made sure that I only spritzed from one direction so it would look wind blown. Pretty happy with how that turned out!

The images and sentiment are black embossed. I like the way that the two different sizes of seed head creates the impression that they're blowing out of the page towards you.
