Freshly Made Sketches 350

I've been relishing a quiet weekend which has given me a bit of time to play with some of the items I got on pre-order from the forthcoming Stampin' Up! Holiday catalogue. Being able to pre-order is one of the best perks of becoming a demonstrator.

For inspiration, I looked to the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

One of the new season sets is So Santa. I had to have this set once I saw the Santa at the beach with a surfboard - just perfect for a New Zealand Christmas! Here he is on his first outing....

In keeping with the summery theme, I've used some of the bright new In-Colours: Pineapple Punch and Call Me Clover paired up with my old favourite, Cherry Cobbler. I think Lovely Lipstick could have been used just as well, though.

I think he's a smart Santa in his tropical shorts but he comes with friends: a scooter Santa and a chef Santa. 

The countdown to the Holiday Catalogue is on. So Santa will be available on 5 September, so keep your eyes peeled for him and his friends.
