Freshly Made Sketches 345

I'm enjoying having some time to play along with challenges. The sketch at Freshly Made Sketches was inspiration for the first outing of my latest stamp set, Very Vintage. This is a hostess set.

Very Vintage was a set that I was havering about, until I saw a gorgeous card made by my Canadian on-line buddy, Heather Cooper from Plays with Papercrafting. I was also exploring some of Stampin' Up's new colours - Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green.

This fabulous floral image coloured up beautifully with Stampin' Blends. The new catalogue has a whole lot of new colours in these amazing alcohol markers and in this card I've used Lovely Lipstick, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo and some touches of Soft Sea Foam. Ever reliable Crumb Cake was used for the stems and a touch of Daffodil Delight for the flower centres.

I think I'll be using this set quite a bit. It's so very pretty.
