The Paper Players 395 - Design Team Card

There were some amazing entries in last week's CAS Blooms challenge. I loved looking at them all and it was lovely to see so many of my favourites getting a shout out from one team member or another. This week at The Paper Players, LeAnne has a sketch challenge for us.

For this sketch, I've gone back to the suite I bought during On Stage, Nature's Poem. I love those leaf images which appear in the DSP and the stamp set.

I took inspiration from the DSP and copper embossed some of the leaves onto vellum and Mint Macaron and cut them out. The cross-section of log is done in stamped off Cajun Craze and then fussy cut.

I think the leaves look great in vellum. Despite some of the leaves looking gold, they are in fact all copper. I added a couple of smaller leaves in the top corner to balance the composition and to lead the eye down towards the sentiment.

We'd all love to see what you make of LeAnne's sketch. Pop over here to see what the rest of the team have done with it to get your mojo flowing.

Here's a quick reminder of the rules at The Paper Players.
