This month, the theme at Stampin' Fancy Friday is Going Dotty! We were challenged to showcase dots in some way.
The team at Stampin' Fancy Friday don't blog hop but we do a daily inspiration post on Instagram. The team at Stampin' Fancy Friday are all current or past members of Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team, so it really is a great place to pick up ideas or recharge your creative mojo.
Follow @stampinfancyfriday if you don't already. 😀
I started with wetting a sheet of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper then smooshing Shaded Spruce, Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue onto it. Once it dried, I cut a series of circles from it using the Stylish Shapes dies.
So, quite a mix of products in this one but I really like the bubbles of sea that climb the card front.
Don't forget to follow @stampinfancyfriday on Instagram, or Stampin' Fancy Friday on Facebook, for more daily ideas.

I used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a circle out of Basic Beige. I used the same die set to cut the banner for the sentiment. I've used this 'happy birthday' so much! It's the most used part of the whole bundle.
I stamped the chain to hang the hoop in Tuxedo Black before embossing the card front with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder.
Once all that was done, it was a simple matter to arrange the birds and flowers then attach them. Some are on dimensionals to give more depth to the scene. The sentiment is popped up too.
The team and I would love to see what wonderful bird creations you make. Visit the As You See It page to see what the rest of the team have done and to link up your entry. You can join in the challenge until Wednesday March 6, 11.59pm PST.

Welcome to the 174th challenge at Colour INKspiration. Today's colour palette was chosen for us by Crew Member Vicki Boucher.
Isn't it a pretty combination of colours?
If you haven't played with us before, we are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from the South Pacific. Challenges are shown and entered via our Facebook Group page. If you don't belong, and would like to, click here. Don't forget to answer the three easy questions you'll be asked when you ask to join the group.
Each challenge, Top Picks and a winner are chosen by the crew and the winner offered a chance to Guest Design with us for a future challenge. We welcome Heidi Heuvel Vd as our Guest Designer for this challenge. We also welcome two new members to our Crew: Sharon Dalton and Alisa Tilsner. I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing their creations in the Crew Inspiration Albums. 😀
If you don't have an exact challenge colour, feel free to replace it with whatever you have that's closest, for example Fresh Freesia for Bubble Bath. Black, White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Beige and metallics are free colours, as are flesh toned Stampin' Blends.
This challenge is open for two weeks and closes Monday October 7, 7pm AEST.
Between the gorgeous graphic and the ever so pretty colours, it was hard to look past something floral for this challenge. However, I've gone for flowers with a bit of a twist - a birdbath scene. Out came the Country Birdhouse bundle and the remains of my Country Woods DSP collection.
I used retired Stamparatus to mirror stamp the bird, but you can use a silicon mat for the job if you don't have a Stamparatus in your stash.
Once again, I got good use from the Stylish Shapes dies - the banner is a perfect match for the 'happy birthday' in the stamp set. I'm sure this set would win the prize for the most used die set in my craft room!
We'd love to see what you do with the challenge colours. You can join the group in the following link, if you aren't already a member. Don't forget to answer the questions when you ask to join. You can see what the rest of the Design Team have done with these colours in the Crew Inspiration Album on the Colour INKspiration Challenge Facebook page.

This month the international team at Creativity Abounds has a great theme for our bundle and hop: Christmas in July. This hop - and the associated tutorial bundle - will give you a lot of ideas for Christmas, not just in July but for the real thing!
All thirteen members of the international Creativity Abounds team have contributed a project to our Exclusive Tutorial Bundle, which you can earn as a free gift from me with a purchase of $100 or more (excluding P&P) or by being a member of my team.
There's a sneak peek of my tutorial project and the whole tutorial bundle at the end of this post but this post offers you an alternative project to get you thinking about Christmas in July.
This project is a great way to refresh your Christmas look with a couple of inexpensive items. All you need is some of the gorgeous Season of Green & Gold DSP and a set of Christmas sentiments like the new Greetings of the Season. You can mix and match the sentiments with dies you already have and voila - a fresh new Christmas range of cards!
This Strip technique is really easy but if you've never done it before, I've got a quick video tutorial to get you going.

Here's a peek at the project I've put into the tutorial bundle. It's a great way of converting a set you might already have to a Christmas purpose. Remember that if you live in New Zealand you can earn the tutorial bundle for free with a purchase of $100 or more.
Here's a peek at the whole bundle.

Welcome to the 169th challenge at Colour INKspiration! We have a bluesy mix for you to play with this time around, chosen by Crew Member Cathy Pinchbeck.

Each challenge, Top Picks and a winner are chosen by the crew and the winner offered a chance to Guest Design with us for a future challenge. We're delighted to welcome Patricia Leferink as our Guest for this challenge.
This challenge is open for nearly two weeks and closes Monday July 22, 7pm AEST.
If you don't have an exact challenge colour, feel free to replace it with whatever you have that's closest, for example Boho Blue for Misty Moonlight. Black, White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Beige and metallics are free colours, as are flesh toned Stampin' Blends.
These colours had to sit with me for a few days before they started talking to me. It was the Basic Beige that did it. I thought about it with a wood grain and that lead me to Country Birdhouse. I used the Timber 3D Embossing Folder to add the texture. At times, I wished for a green to add in but in the end, I loved how it turned out in stylish shades of blue and beige.
I also wanted to try out a fancy fold I'd seen around on the Internet in quite a few places: a faux step card. A simple internet search will give many tutorials for this fold.
I did a mirror stamp to get one bird facing each way - it just seemed more companionable that way! I'm pleased with their Misty Moonlight chests too.
It was a small error to use the same pattern of DSP in both Night of Navy (card) and Misty Moonlight (the Birdhouse) as it doesn't really show a difference, at least in the photo. I used the 2024-26 In Colour 6x6 DSP pack for the papers.
The sentiment from the set is stamped in Night of Navy and is die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies.
I'm excited to see what you do with these pretty colours!

Exciting times at Creativity Abounds as our next stamp camp draws near! This time, we're featuring the Country Birdhouse bundle. Each of the thirteen members of the team have put together one project for the tutorial bundle you'll get with purchase. We've all done a second project too to teach you during Stamp Camp.
Usually on our monthly hops we give you a sneak peek at the tutorial project (that will still happen) and then we go on to give you a bonus project and tutorial on the same theme. This time we'll be giving you a look at what the Stamp Camp Live project is going to be. You'll learn how to make it during the Camp.
So my project for Stamp Camp is a simple photo album. It's great for special events like a graduation, a special place or special occasion gathering. It would also work as a way for people to leave messages and memories for someone leaving a workplace or retiring, or even as a special recipe book. It holds about a dozen or so pictures, depending on how large they are and how you arrange them.
I'll be showing you how to create the actual book and give you some ideas on how you might go about filling it.
Here's the cover. As you see, the album has a pretty ribbon closure.
This is an example from one of the inside pages. Of course, my granddaughter really does have a face! I just felt better obscuring it a little before popping her online. 😀
How you use and fill the album is up to you but I'll share some ideas and things I've learned along the way with you.
Here's a look at the project I've contributed to the tutorial bundle. You'll receive the tutorial project PDF and kits before Stamp Camp and there'll be a video tutorial for each of them as well.
Here's all the details about the camp and how you can get your invitation.
As you follow the hop, you'll see all the 26 projects you'll get to make!
