Earthen Textures for AYSI 309

The second type of challenge on our rota at As You See It is a colour challenge. This time, it's my pleasure to have chosen the palette. While the Misty Moonlight, Copper Clay and white were pretty clear, I couldn't decide on choosing the green or the various caramels or grey in the graphic, so our team leader Heather decided to give us the choice! So you can include any neutral of your choice as the fourth colour.

I chose as my neutral Mossy Meadow, which is one of the colours in Stampin' Up!'s Neutrals family. The bundle I immediately thought of for this was Earthen Textures. This card pretty much made itself!

I used the sentiment from Artistically Inked as there are no birthday sentiments in Earthen Textures, but mixing and matching your sets is one of the pleasures of cardmaking!

You can see just how easy it is to make in this tutorial.

You can pop over to the As You See It page to see what the rest of the team have done with this palette and to link up your own entry,

  1. Just beautiful, Jan! I have been on the fence about this one, but I think you just tipped me over the side here, lol. LOVE those delicate stems in the vases, and all that texture is gorgeous!

  4. Absolutely gorgeous Jan! The colors were used with perfection but it's the embossed background that makes this card pop!
