It's already time for another Inspiration Hop with Around the World on Wednesday. On the second Wednesday of each month, the team put together a thematic hop to give you some inspiration for your own crafting. We love it when you try out something new or CAS(E) one of our projects. The team is truly international, with members from each time zone of the world that Stampin' Up! operates. You're with me, in New Zealand - the first place in the Stampin' Up! world to change the date. 😀
Our theme this time is one that will let your imagination soar.... never ever grow up.
My mind took a bit of a convoluted trip at this point. Never grow up...Peter Pan... Captain Hook... Pirate Ships... adventure...imaginary worlds... dreaming big and ended up with this, with my ship sailing through the clouds and the starry sky.
I do love the pirate ship from On The Ocean, although in this case it's less a pirate ship and more a ship of the mind. In any case, it's fun to construct with the various layers. I used the cross hatch embossing folder from the 3D Basics embossing folder pack from Online Exclusives to give some texture to the sails.
I like the way the ship really looks like it's sailing through the night sky. Never grow up, never stop dreaming.
Next up on the hop is the ever wonderful Leonie Stuart in Australia.
If you get lost on the hop, or want to revisit someone, here's a roll of all the participants.
