Welcome to a new challenge at As You See It! This time, it's colour challenge week and we've got a lovely mix of blues for you to play with. As well as the pretty combo, you also have the chance to join us as guest designer in a future challenge if you are our Featured Artist in this challenge.
Once the base dried, I cut it with the largest of the Stitched Rectangle dies, then stamped it. I used Night of Navy with the large foliage, Pacific Point with the medium foliage and Balmy Blue for the splatters.

Just gorgeous, Jan! I loved reading about your process for that spectacular background - what a thoughtful process! It shows! Off to dig out my shimmer cs - why do I forget about that from time to time??
ReplyDeleteYou amaze me every time with this set Jan - who knew it could look so great in blue?! I love how you created this fabulous inked background - the addition of the white ribbon and fern detail behind your sentiment label is just the perfect finishing touch!
ReplyDeleteThis is spectacular, Jan! Rhapsody in Blue! Good photography, too, because I can just catch the bit of sparkly from the Shimmery White cardstock!
ReplyDeleteJan...as much as you love this stamp set, I love seeing what else you do with it. I thought it was gorgeous in greens but it is absolutely beautiful in blue! Wonderful as always!
