We're a group of stamping friends that are celebrating Bron's 60th Birthday in 2022 with six blog hops, over six months, with six fun themes! We have an inspiration pic for tonight's hop.
Bronwyn Eastley of Addinktive Designs does the MOST amazing 3D creations and is one lovely lady. I was delighted to be invited to join Bronwyn's big birthday celebrations.
I had the pleasure of meeting Bronwyn at Auckland On Stage a few years ago and watched her do a fabulous presentation. So it's great to help her celebrate her big 60 with a blog hop.
Here's the great inspiration picture she gave us to work with.
Now, I love the beach so I took my inspiration from the starfish, the sand, the seashell and the pinks and greys in the picture.
I used the White Frayed ribbon under the sentiment to mimic the fringe on the beach mat in the picture. The wood grain DSP is from Heart & Home.

What a fabulous colour combination, Jan! So cute the way you've fringed the frayed ribbon to mimic the fringe on the beach mat - pure genius!

Oh Jan, you have made some beautiful cards with this stamp set and this one is a gem. It was great to meet you in Auckland and hang out for a bit. I miss in-person events! Thanks so much for joining in on the 1st virtual 60th birthday celebration.

ReplyDeleteThat's a stunner Jan. I love the fringed/ frayed ribbon - I'm sure if I tried to do that it would not look an ywhere so neat! Have you sponged onto the woodgrain paper - it looks fabulous too
