Positive Thoughts for Inspire Create 62

The team at Inspire.Create Challenge have offered us an interesting one this week: a blank slate.

This worked well for me as I had on my desk the scraps of a piece of watercolour paper that I'd given a pigment sprinkle treatment to in order to make this card with Peaceful Poppies.

I also had on my desk the wonderful new Nature's Thoughts dies, part of the new Product Coordination release, that partner up with the Positive Thoughts stamp set. One piece I'd not used from that was the lovely embossed feather (or leaf).

This is where the marriage of the two lead me...

The feather die is so gorgeous! I love the shape of it and the feathery impressions make it really special. To help bring out the embossed pattern even more, I sponged them lightly with Real Red.

  1. Those bright feathers look great against the navy textured background Jan - this is such a striking card.
