Welcome back to Colour Inkspiration for the first of our new-look challenges for 2020. We had lovely entries in our third birthday challenge and hope to see many more during the year.
We are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from the South Pacific. Challenges are shown and entered via our Facebook Group page. If you don't belong, and would like to, click here.
If you play with us regularly, you'll notice a couple of changes from this point forward. We will no longer be doing a Design Team Blog Hop to kick off each challenge. Instead, there will be an album of Design Team projects for you to look at for inspiration. If there is a blog post on a particular project, there will be a link to it in the comments. Secondly, we will no longer be holding a poll of the Top 5 picks to choose a winner. A Top 5 and overall Winner will be selected by the Design Team and announced. The winner will still be offered the chance to Guest Design with us for a future challenge.
And now, on with the show....
Confession time, straight up. I don't own Gray Granite, so I've substituted Smoky Slate. You can do this too, if at any time you don't have the exact colour - just put in your closest. Black, White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Metallics and flesh tones are always free colours too.
I was lucky enough to see Jacque Williams present her own Million Dollar Sales set, Beautiful Moments, at OnStage last year. This challenge seemed the perfect colour combination to use to ink it up for the first time.
I added in the hill, which Jacque told us is really Rangitoto, by masking the figure of the girl - a tip that Jacque showed us at OnStage.
I stamped and coloured the whole image, then cut out the square and mounted it on a layer of Smoky Slate and put it back on the card front. Finally, I added the sentiment with just a touch of Pool Party peeking from behind.
You have two weeks to join in with us and show us what you've done with Highland Heather, Pool Party, Gray Granite and Pear Pizzazz. We'd love to see, so make sure you post to the Facebook Group.

I adore this set Jan and it was the first one on my wishlist - I love how you've coloured this image, so fresh. A neat trick to add in the mountain too.
