Retro Rubber 77 - Design Team card

This week at Retro Rubber Challenge, we have a Christmas colour challenge for you.
All you have to do is design a card that uses some, or all, of the colours in the picture plus make sure that you use stamps that are at least a year old and tell us their approximate age.

I'm not sure when Lovely as a Tree came out but it's been in every Stampin' Up catalogue I've ever seen.

The stars and the sentiment are from Holly Jolly Greetings which came out in the year before last's Holiday catalogue.

We'd love to have you join us in the Christmas challenge, our last for 2017.
Just remember - use the colours, use a stamp older than a year, tell us how old (approximately) and don't link up to more than ten challenges in total.

Ingredients
Card: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, silver glimmer paper
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree, Holly Jolly Greetings
Inks: Garden Green, Island Indigo, silver, Tuxedo Black
Other: sponges, silver cording trim (retired), Softly Falling embossing folder, Cherry Cobbler enamel shape, dimensionals

  2. Oh, Jan, this is so pretty! I love the touch of bling from the Glimmer paper and silver cording. I asked my stampin' up group and they told me that Lovely as a Tree came out with the 2001 catalog! WOW! Happy Holidays, Jan!

  3. Hi Jan! This card is stunning! Love the coloring you did - you get the feeling of cold from that white and blue! Beautiful scene and the glitter really causes it to pop off the card! Wow! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  4. Jan, this is a gorgeous scene. I love all the little details, the snow embossing the glittery trip and that super thin silver cording. All just makes me happy. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Claire
