The Paper Players 364 - DT card

There were so many beautiful cards in last week's gallery at The Paper Players that came from Nance's versatile and pretty sketch. Big congratulations to the Headliner and Cuts Above! I think you'll be excited by this week's theme challenge from Sandy too.

Because I got Oh So Eclectic at the same time as my Christmas pre-orders, I feel I've neglected it, so it was today's choice of set to use. I did sneak in a couple of bits and bobs from Beautiful Bouquet and Bouquet Bunch framelits too.

The distressed leaf stamp is one of my favourites. On two them, I rolled the edges of the stamp through Cajun Craze after inking with Old Olive first to get the two-toned leaves. I used some of the Year of Cheer washi tape from the Holiday Catalogue because of the lovely copper tones and then added in a touch of copper metallic thread and gave the main flower a copper foil centre too.

We would love to have you join us at The Paper Players this week, for our Autumn Floral theme challenge.

Here's a reminder of the few rules we have:

  2. Upload your creation to your blog with a link back to us.
  3. Please provide a direct link to the post featuring your challenge entry.
  4. Please link your card to no more than four challenges, total. Entries linked to more than 4 challenges, including ours, will be deleted without notification.

  2. Your card is lovely and it inspired me to break out the Oh So Eclectic stamp set to make my card. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration.

    1. I'm so happy to hear that Andrea! Thank you.

  3. I adore this set Jan but must confess to having only used it with brights or the cokourscthat feature in the Eclectic suite. Your card has made me look at it in a completely different way - i love this autumnal colour scheme with warm yellows and browns and the layered flowers are gorgeius. A perfect fall floral card!

  4. Beautiful blooms! Love your pretty fall card!

  5. Wow, I love this...the way you did the leaves is amazing! I would never have thought to do that...I confess that leaves are always an afterthought for me, LOL! Beautiful take on the inspiration photo!

  6. Beautiful autumn bouquet! And your color choices are perfect.

  7. Jan your autumnal bouquet captures the essence of this challenge so perfectly. Your stamping of the leaves is wonderful, they look like they have so much texture, and I love your choice of colors. FAbulous card!

  8. What a stunning use of all these products, Jan! Your floral arrangement is perfectly balanced and appears effortlessly stylish. Love the detail you added to the leaves and the "bits and bobs" are just perfect rustic elements to take this autumn bouquet to absolute gorgeousness! Lovely card, my friend!

  9. Just a beautiful composition of autumn floral goodness! I'm loving the added Cajun Craze to the tips of the leaves...such wonderful details. Fantastic card, Jan!

  10. Jan, I love your flowers and lovely layout. I also love the leaves that add a little something extra to your beautiful bouquet. Stunning.

  11. Oh I just love this! Your layers and details are bang on!
