Yesterday's playing also reacquainted me with Delightful Dijon, a colour I usually by-pass but it got another outing today.
I've stamped the multi-layered leaves and grunge splatters directly onto the card but die cut the flowers so I could build up some dimension - and so I could play around with the matching framelits.
Update: So very delighted to be a Perfectly Made Princess this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

SO Beautiful, love the colours you have chosen. They have a real point of difference and show your stunning new stamps of to perfection especially with that touch of grunge.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a nice break away, but welcome back also.
Thanks Ali. It was a great trip and we enjoyed seeing Northland.
DeleteWow the flowers are beautiful! Lovely card! Glad you joined us at FMS!
ReplyDeleteWell done with your stamping Jan!! I have this set too and definitely still need practice to get the layering just right. They are really good for water colouring too with the outer layer. Love the colours on your card and the splatters look very cool.
ReplyDeleteThanks Shona. I got the tulip set too and got them both because I wanted to play with the layers and the watercolouring. I watercoloured the tulips on their first outing. I can see they'll both be favourites.
DeleteWhat a gorgeous card! I love those flowers! They're so beautifully coloured! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jan - this gorgeous card deserves the recognition!
