Pals Paper Arts 305

Another lovely colour challenge this week, this time at Pals Paper Arts.

I'm enjoying the school holidays: no work = more time in my craft room! By chance - although a well-planned chance - a big box of Stampin' Up goodies arrived on the first day of the holidays. In amongst it, was Floral Phrases and the matching Detailed Floral thinlits. And actually, also included in the box was Sunshine Sayings and its matching thinlits, Sunshine Wishes - among a few other things, yet to be inked...

What you're meant to be seeing here is the Wink of Stella on the 'love' although I'm not convinced it's visible. What you can see clearly is the Island Indigo layer, slightly offset, creating a shadow effect.

Card: Island Indigo, Sahara Sand, Sweet Sugarplum
Stamps: Sunshine Sayings
Inks: Island Indigo
Other: Detailed Floral thinlits, Sunshine Wishes thinlits,  Wink of Stella.

  1. Really like your layering the Love and the Sugarplum behind the floral die in Indigo...they really pop! Thanks for playing along with the Pals color challenge this week!

  2. Wow, Jan... the detail in the floral thinlits is really accentuated with the pop of sweet sugarplum behind it. So pretty... And you can see a little shine on the love but its best detail is the shadow effect! Thanks for playing along with my color challenge at the PPA this week.

  3. Such a pretty card! I love the layers of color on the sentiment and floral panel. Thank you so much for joining the Pals Paper Arts challenge this week!

  4. What a great idea to layer the Sugarplum behind the beautiful die, it really shows the details of the die! Thank you for sharing your pretty card with us this week at Pals Paper Arts1
