Vanilla, Gold and Black

When I saw that the colour challenge this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments was one of my very favourite combinations, I had to have a go.

Tonight is senior prize-giving at school so all the staff are back at 7 for the most formal occasion of the school year. We'll all be decked out in our gowns and hoods, despite the sweltering mid-summer temperatures. But it will be worth it to see all the recognitions that our students will receive for the hard work they've done all year.

I'd been thinking about this card on and off during the day but it had to be made quickly... 11 minutes in fact.

I'm not usually a washi tape kind of girl but these ones, which I got at Warehouse Stationery a while ago, get a turn each Christmas.

Card: Very Vanilla, Black, Gold foil
Stamps: Endless Wishes
Inks: Tuxedo Black, versamark
Other: Gold embossing powder, Gold Cord trim, Delicate ornaments dies, dimensionals, Grace Taylor This and That washi tape.
