I particularly like the combination of Lost Lagoon, Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand and so worked with that again for this card.
In this photo, you can see that the Sahara Sand layer is raised above the panel of white, which has been stamped in Cherry Cobbler with a stamp from the retired Sweet Summer set.
I'm also quite addicted to the Papillon Potpourri set and you can see the layers of the butterfly well in this photo.
Update: Delighted that this card made Featured Artisan at Paper Craft Crew.

ReplyDeleteHi Jan, this is SUPER creative in how you actually made the circles peep-throughs! So unique and that's what I love in seeing how people have various takes on sketches. Thanks for joining us at the Paper Craft Crew this week! Crystal
ReplyDeleteLove this Jan! Fabulous idea to use the Challenge shapes as the negatives of punching!! So creative and allows your beautiful butterflies to really shine! Thanks for joining us at The Paper Craft Crew this week :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card, Jan! The colours you've used work beautifully together. I love the pop of Cherry Cobbler against the more muted Lost Lagoon and Sahara Sand. Great job layering those butterflies. They have so much more dimension that way and seem to be fluttering their wings. Thanks for joining us this week for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge.
ReplyDeleteJan, I just love your card. The colors are unique but really great together. Love the pop of Cherry Cobbler. Also love the negative space with the punched out circles. Thanks for playing along with the Paper Craft Crew. Your card will be included in this weeks Featured Artisan blog post.
