Can you believe that it's almost December? To help you get in the mood, Stampin' Up! have a special release for you all. The Quite Curvy Variety bundle offers you many choices to expand your crafting repertoire, whether you're an old hand or just starting out.
You can have some or all of the variety bundle - but once you see it all, you'll want it all! There's the Curvy Christmas stamp set and the Classic Christmas DSP. These will be available until 4 January or while stocks last. The stamps in this set coordinate with the Curvy dies.
The Curvy dies also coordinate with the Quite Curvy stamp set. Quite Curvy and Curvy dies are an early release from the January-June Mini Catalogue. They're a great chance to get your hands on something new from the next catalogue.
The Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team has already hopped once with this wonderful bundle. Here's a reminder of the card I made with Curvy Christmas and the Curvy dies. If you missed it and would like to know more, you can see it here.
Since then, I've made a few more things with this bundle. Here's a couple of simple cards, one using Curvy Christmas and one with Quite Curvy and an ink-spritzed background. If you'd like to know more about them, you can see it here.
Today I'm sharing with you a birthday card made with the Quite Curvy set and Curvy dies.
I started by stamping two of the vine stamps from Quite Curvy. They're coloured using Stampin' Blends - Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green, then die cut using the Curvy dies. I've attached them at 180 degrees to each other, on a background embossed with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder. I tucked in a couple of pieces of Just Jade Twill Ribbon that had been frayed at the ends.
I stamped three birds, coloured them in Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green and die cut them. The sentiment I've cut using the eyelet edged curved dies. It's lovely the way the die echoes the curve of the sentiment.
I added in a trio of Gilded Gems to finish off.
The Curvy Celebration set is so versatile it lets you make projects from simple to complex. Make sure you get your order in early, so you don't miss out.
Next up is the fabulous Lauren Alarid, aka The Crafty Peach.
