Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Curvy Celebrations 2

Can you believe that it's almost December? To help you get in the mood, Stampin' Up! have a special release for you all. The Quite Curvy Variety bundle offers you many choices to expand your crafting repertoire, whether you're an old hand or just starting out.

You can have some or all of the variety bundle - but once you see it all, you'll want it all! There's the Curvy Christmas stamp set and the Classic Christmas DSP. These will be available until 4 January or while stocks last. The stamps in this set coordinate with the Curvy dies.

The Curvy dies also coordinate with the Quite Curvy stamp set. Quite Curvy and Curvy dies are an early release from the January-June Mini Catalogue. They're a great chance to get your hands on something new from the next catalogue.

The Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team has already hopped once with this wonderful bundle. Here's a reminder of the card I made with Curvy Christmas and the Curvy dies. If you missed it and would like to know more, you can see it here.

Since then, I've made a few more things with this bundle. Here's a couple of simple cards, one using Curvy Christmas and one with Quite Curvy and an ink-spritzed background. If you'd like to know more about them, you can see it here.

Today I'm sharing with you a birthday card made with the Quite Curvy set and Curvy dies.

I started by stamping two of the vine stamps from Quite Curvy. They're coloured using Stampin' Blends - Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green, then die cut using the Curvy dies. I've attached them at 180 degrees to each other, on a background embossed with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder. I tucked in a couple of pieces of Just Jade Twill Ribbon that had been frayed at the ends.

I stamped three birds, coloured them in Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green and die cut them. The sentiment  I've cut using the eyelet edged curved dies. It's lovely the way the die echoes the curve of the sentiment.

I added in a trio of Gilded Gems to finish off.

The Curvy Celebration set is so versatile it lets you make projects from simple to complex. Make sure you get your order in early, so you don't miss out.

Next up is the fabulous Lauren Alarid, aka The Crafty Peach.

If you get lost around the hop, or would like to revisit, here's a list of everyone on the hop with a link.

Playing Around with Curvy Celebration

Demonstrators around the world have been able to order the Curvy Celebration bundle since the beginning of October. Did you know that one of the advantages of signing up as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is early access to new products? If you're interested in finding out more about joining my team, message me or click on the Join My Team tab at the top of the page.

Next week, starting on 3 November anyone can order this bundle. You can order all of it or parts of it.

There's the Quite Curvy bundle. This is an early release from the January-June Mini Catalogue.

Especially for your Christmas crafting pleasure, there is the limited edition Curvy Christmas - which also coordinates with the Curvy dies.

And... there's also this awesome Classic Christmas 15cmx15cm DSP stack in the luscious Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Sahara Sand.

The Stampin' Up Artisan Design team hopped using items from Curvy Celebrations and if you missed it, you can join in with me right here.

Today, I'm sharing with you a couple of other cards I've made using these products.

Curvy Christmas

First up, here's a simple Christmas Card made with the Curvy Christmas set, Curvy dies and Classic Christmas DSP. There's nothing magic here - just the stamps, dies and DSP working together perfectly, as they were intended to do.

I've cut the white paper into a curvy swoosh, using my favourite die: the eyelet edge. I've slipped a piece of coordinating DSP in the gap.

Then I've simple stamped the sentiment and star swoosh stamps in Tuxedo Black, added in a couple of small Cherry Cobbler stars around the sentiment and used a dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blend to colour some of the stars in the star swoosh.

Don't you love it when a simple card looks as though you've lavished hours on it?

If you like the look of these, order as soon as you can. They are only available while stocks last.

Quite Curvy Bundle

This card did take a little more time because of the colouring of the vine and the birds as well as the building up of the background. However, since those things were both fun and relaxing, it didn't matter at all and the card itself is simply put together.

The vine is coloured with Stampin' Blends in Just Jade, Shaded Spruce and Granny Apple Green with some touches of Crumb Cake. Isn't is fantastic that such a pretty image can be die-cut so easily and popped up on dimensionals?

The background is really very easy. I simply sponged Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and a touch of Shaded Spruce on Shimmery White Card, starting with lightest in the middle and working to the darkest. Then I gave it a very fine misting of water using a Stampin' Spritzer and left it for a few seconds so that some of the colour lifted before drying it off with the Heat Tool.

Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Curvy Celebrations

It's great to be able to share with you a sneak peek at the Curvy Celebration products, which Demonstrators can pre-order from 1 October-2 November, with customer ordering opening after that.

The Curvy Celebrations promotion features two early-release products from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue, plus two exclusive products available for a limited time only. This promotion offers customers a first glance at the look and feel of the new catalogue, a chance to purchase early and some exclusive products perfect for Christmas crafting.

Today, I'm sharing with you a Christmas card utilising the limited time Curvy Christmas stamp set and Classic Christmas DSP along with the Curvy dies.

Unlike many stamp sets that feature a large focal image, Curvy Christmas is an eclectic selection of small Christmas motifs and sentiments, some of which match the curve of the dies. It lends itself to collage and repeat stamping.

For this card, I started by repeat stamping the 'Merry Christmas' in Sahara Sand in a left to right diagonal across the Whisper White panel. I added in some of the stars (there are two sizes in the set) in Cherry Cobbler.

I like the colours in the Classic Christmas DSP: Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce. One side of each of the 15cmx15cm pieces is a subtle Christmas theme (like the stars) but the other side is more generic (such as the dots) which extends the life of this paper stack well beyond the Christmas season.  I cut three narrow curved strips, using one of the Curvy dies and stacked them. I like the sense of movement the curves create and I thought the eyelet edge was adorable.

I cut a star from Stitched Stars using Brushed Gold foil, popped it on dimensionals and added in some foliage from the Curvy dies in Shaded Spruce and a touch of Brushed Gold foil.  I gold-embossed the same 'Merry Christmas' stamp onto Cherry Cobbler and trimmed it into two words and popped it up on mini-dimensionals.

The finishing touch was a gold bow, using the gold cord from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon combo pack.

This card is easily achievable by all levels of crafter. There are die-cuts aplenty to keep the most avid crafter happy but the design is easily achievable by a beginner with access to the necessary equipment.

As a Demonstrator, you get early access to the Curvy Celebrations products from 1 October-2 November. Customer ordering begins on 3 November.

During pre-order, products are limited to one of each stamp set and dies (whether purchased separately or as part of the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle) and three packs of Designer Series paper.

As this is a limited-time, early release don't delay getting your order in. The sooner you order, the sooner you have it to play with and share with your customers.

For more inspiration, keep hopping around the Artisan Design Team. Next up is the wonderful Lauren Alarid, aka The Crafty Peach.
