It's time for a new challenge at Colour INKspiration. This time, the palette was chosen by team member Jacque Williams. Lovely, isn't it?
If you haven't played with us before, we are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from the South Pacific. Challenges are shown and entered via our Facebook Group page. Each challenge, Top Picks and a winner are chosen by the crew and the winner offered a chance to Guest Design with us for a future challenge.
If you don't have an exact challenge colour, feel free to replace it with whatever you have that's closest. Black, White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and metallics are free colours, as are flesh toned Stampin' Blends.
One of my favourite sets from the last catalogue is Forever Fern, so I'm delighted that it's carried over into the 2021-22 Annual Catalogue. I thought it would lend itself well to the natural colours of this challenge.
I started by stamping the largest foliage stamp in Just Jade on the Basic White card front and added in some small splatters in Smoky Slate and Mint Macaron. I lightly distressed the edge in Smoky Slate.
The sentiment is from Art Gallery and cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies. To create the accent piece, I took a scrap of Basic White and freehanded some stripes with the Dark Just Jade Stampin' Blend, then added a stitched edge with one of the large Stitched Rectangle dies.
Some Champagne Rhinestones finished it off.
