Beautiful Friendship for AYSI 225

Welcome to a new challenge at As You See It. We were amazed at the gorgeous entries in last week's speed challenge - it's quite a feat to get a card done in under ten minutes - and they were so lovely it was hard to choose winners.

I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone sees this sketch.

I really like the 2019-20 In-Colours, so wanted a chance to use some of them. This card uses my three favourites: Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock. Although I'm not a big user of patterned paper, I do like the DSP stack that accompanied the release of those In-Colours. Sadly, the DSP is retiring. If you like it too, then make sure to order some before it's all gone.

It's been a while since I got out Beautiful Friendship too and its pretty water-coloured look plays well with the colours I'd picked.

I used a fold of the scallop-edged Rococo Rose ribbon to represent the vertical element of the sketch.
Since it's Mother's Day in a couple of day's time, I used the sentiment from Dressed to Impress and the coordinating die cut from All Dressed Up to finish the card off. Both the stamp and die are carrying over into the new catalogue but the Bundle is not, so if you want these buying them now will save you 10%.

You can play along with us until Wednesday 20 May, 11.55pm PST. The team would love to see what you make of the sketch. You can visit the As You See It Challenge page to see what the rest of the tea team have done and to link up your entry.

If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. 1. I love this set Jan - this is one of my all-time favourites! I have made a ton of cards with this in recent weeks as part of my online class programme and whilst I usually tend towards pastels and brights your card shows it can work well with darker colours too. Love the script DSP border and touch of ribbon but it's the florals that steal the show here for sure.
