As You See It 210 - Design Team Card

It's recipe week at As You See It: take all the ingredients and see what you can cook up with them!

So, you can make whatever you like - as long as we can see a leaf, a die cut, some twine, a tag and a get well sentiment.

I don't often do packaging but I thought that this recipe suited it. I've made a gift bag for someone who's under the weather. It could easily hold some handcream, some lip balm, maybe some tissues or some sweet treats and maybe even a scratch ticket or two for luck.

I used some paper from Magnolia Lane and although I used the now retired Gift Bag Punch Board, it could happily be made without one - although a scoring board would be useful.

There are leaves on that gorgeous Magnolia Lane DSP plus I've added some diecut leaves. As well as the die cut leaves, the flower petals and stamen are all die cut too. There's twine around the ribbon. The tag was made using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch and the corner rounder on the Detailed Trio punch. The get well sentiment is from Dandelion Wishes.

We'd love to see what you do with this challenge. Visit the As You See It Challenge blog to see what the rest of the team have done and to link up your entry.

  2. I don't think I'd need to even look inside this gorgeous packaging to feel better Jan! I love how you've layered all your elements and the clip is a great way to close your bag. The colours are stunning and the little flower sets everything off beautifully.
