The Paper Players 450

Just a quick post today. I couldn't resist LeAnne's bright colour challenge at The Paper Players.

It's a mixture of old and new. Beautiful Bouquet is a set that's been around for a couple of years while the Stitched Lace die is from this year's annual catalogue.

I've often said that Beautiful Bouquet is an amazing set with endless variations possible with the many different bloom and foliage stamps and dies. This is no exception and I had a great time doing the final flower arrangement with my various bits and bobs. I think my favourites are the two-tone buds.

I like the way the die-cut ribbon is off centre as it gives the ribbon even more sense of depth. The white-embossed sentiment is a perfect finish for this spring-bright card.

  1. THis is beautiful, Jan! I noticed those two-tone buds right away! I think I sort of ignore those cute little images in the set and always go for the big ones! But how sweet are they, colored the way you did! And the lacy background sets it off so nicely, especially with the diagonal horizontal banner. Just gorgeous! Thanks for making my colors look great this week!
